Mindfulness: A Resilience Practice

In this module, participants will learn simple mindfulness practices that help build teacher resilience. The module supports educators in reducing stress and caring for their own wellbeing. Resilient teachers are better able to create warm, supportive, and effective learning environments for children. By the end of the module, participants will be able to describe the positive and negative effects of stress, use mindfulness strategies to return to a calm, centered state, and guide children in at least one mindfulness practice.
